DEAD ELF BARS
PERSONAL PROJECT

Elf bars were littering the streets in 2023.
They were impossible to recycle and the Elf Lords were doing nothing about it.

That December, we turned every Elf Bar we saw into a sad little Christmas elf.
Then we photographed them and added them to our @deadelfs account.
We tagged Elf Bar in every single picture.
From December 1st until Christmas day.

They became very angry elves.
We got into keyboard spats with Elf Bar accounts all over the world.
(Surprisingly, Switzerland were the most aggressive.)

We were featured in Metro, Campaign and The Bureau Investigates. But most importantly, we got an actual response from Elf Bar saying they’d improve their ways.

Pride In London 2020 was going to be the biggest celebration yet.
Then lockdown happened and the community were torn apart.

They said that they felt more divided than ever.
So we created a campaign that felt like a rallying cry. All for LGBTQ+ Unity.

The film was beamed onto the Piccadilly Lights.
Was Campaign’s Pick of the week.
And featured on Elton John’s Insta.
